Fathia was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2017. Fathia has worked exclusively as a practitioner in Family Law with a special focus in complex parenting matters involving issues of relocation, family violence, mental health, alienation, drug and alcohol abuse and children with special needs. Fathia has also had extensive experience representing grandparents who have had to intervene in parenting matters for the safety and wellbeing of their grandchildren.

Fathia understands the long-term impact these complex issues can have on the wellbeing of her clients and the legal proceedings they are involved with. She accordingly guides her clients through negotiations, mediation and/or Court litigation, depending on what serves the circumstances of their case best.
